Special Topics in Papermaking: Eco-Printing
with Bridget O'Malley
Sunday, August 19; 10am-4pm
Eco Printing is a form of natural dyeing where the colors from plant leaves and flowers are transferred to paper or fabric via steaming or boiling. This class will explore the many possibilities of color and textures found in the bounty of plants that the end of summer provides. Bring papers and textiles, and discover the possibilities to create unique prints and papers for use in handmade books, covers, and letterpress printing.
