with Holly Day and MCBA staff
Saturday, October 28; 9am-noon
For children ages 9-11
$55.50 regular, 49.95 member, $38.85 low-income

While it's so much fun to read a good, spooky ghost story, it's even more fun to write one of your own! First, we'll create a hand made haunted house hidden page book in the (scary, spine tingling) studios at Minnesota Center for Book Arts. Then we'll read some classic, age-appropriate ghost stories, and talk about why the idea of a haunted house is so thrilling to so many of us. Once character development and basic story form is discussed, we'll get to work writing our own ghost stories to put in our newly created book. But, this is no ordinary book..... it holds a secret hiding place just waiting to surprise and thrill your readers!
