Youth and Family Workshops

Book arts for kids and families!

Explore fun and unique books, handmade paper, and printmaking projects. MCBA’s family and youth workshops support literacy and pre-literacy skills, develop manual dexterity, and spark a lifelong love of books and art.

Age ranges are listed in each workshop description. Youth classes are available for kids only. Family classes are intended for children and adults to attend together — siblings, cousins, grandparents — bring the whole family! Both child and adult will receive a set of materials for each project. Each pair may choose to work side-by-side and independently complete two projects, or they may work together using one set and take the other set home.

To register additional participants, simply click the registration button for the class, then you can select the number of additional participants. If registering additional children, please include their name(s) and age(s) in the field provided during step two of the registration check-out process.

Register ONLINE using the buttons below, IN PERSON at The Shop at MCBA, or BY PHONE at 612-215-2520. Please see our registration policies here.
