EXPLORING MCBA'S STANDARD YOUTH WORKSHOPS

UNIVERSITY AVE. ELEMENTARY SCHOOL, BLAINE

The teachers from 5 first-grade classes (91 students) wanted a low-cost book arts workshop that would reinforce lessons presented during dental care week in a new and engaging way. MCBA’s youth workshops instructors developed a “tooth” book using a single sheet of paper and using a meander structure. The tooth-shaped book gave students many pages for writing and drawing the things they learned during dental care week.
