with Sally Power
Saturday, February 25; 10am–4pm CT
Is there a pattern you want to master, a special project you want to work on, a recurring frustration with your practice, or do you want to polish your technique generally? This in-person workshop will start with a review of each participant’s goals, both in a group and one-to-one setting. Then, you and the teaching artist will work on steps and strategies to support achieving your goals. Participants are encouraged to bring their own paper to marble as well as any pertinent papers they have that show specific challenges or what they want to achieve.
An understanding of the basics of marbling is required to register, but the goal of this workshop is to build on where you are in your practice.

MCBA offers two scholarship types for workshops—Financial Hardship Scholarships and BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) Scholarships—to honor equity and increase access and artistic opportunities for those who have historically been underrepresented in the book arts. For individuals to whom these scholarships do not apply, register at the “Adult” rate and, if you are able, consider making a donation when registering to support MCBA’s efforts to make scholarships available.
All in-person program participants are required to wear a mask while in MCBA’s studios. See our COVID Safety Guidelines for more information.
Please note: Registration closes 2/20 at midnight (CT).
