Get to know MCBA’s collection of Hebrew type and practice typesetting with the Hebrew alphabet. This demonstration-focused in-person workshop will show participants strategies for setting and choosing text based on character counts, type size, and other logistics involved in the process of letterpress printing with Hebrew type. Share budding project ideas for supportive feedback and resource-sharing. Return to MCBA for Letterpress Labs to set type and print your own project with Hebrew type.
To register, participants must have taken Letterpress 1: Printing Basics and Letterpress 2: Setting Type. Participants build technical skills needed to use Hebrew type in this workshop, but participation in Letterpress 3: Two-Color Postcards is required to attend Letterpress Labs.

For individuals to whom this does not apply, register at the rate listed first and, if you are able, consider making a donation when registering to support MCBA’s efforts to make scholarship rates available.
All in-person program participants are required to wear a mask while in MCBA’s studios. See our COVID Safety Guidelines for more information.
