with Ben Blount
Thursday, December 3; 7–8:30pm CST
Join designer and printer Ben Blount as he demonstrates his letterpress printing process and shares about his work—plus, receive a poster hand printed by Ben! A believer in the power of the printed word, Ben uses wood and metal type to create books and prints that have an impact beyond the printed page.
He is best known for work that is typographic, content-forward, and topical. Some of his favorite times are spent traveling the country, and lately the Internet, sharing his love of ink, paper, and compelling content with students. Come take a peek into his studio and process! Fee includes a poster that Ben will letterpress print during the workshop, shipped to address provided at registration.
