with Michelle Lee Lagerroos and Kirsten Olson
Wednesday: October 7; 6-8pm CDT
Join fabric screen printers Kirsten Olson and Michelle Lee Lagerroos as they print a 2-color tote bag. In this live, virtual demonstration, learn about waxed paper stencil and photo emulsion methods of image creation and watch screen prints being pulled. Participants will receive a hand-printed tote bag in the mail! Please note: totes will be sent to the address provided at registration.
$30 for BIPOC participants
*We are offering a reduced rate to BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) participants to honor equity and increase access and artistic opportunities for those who have historically been underrepresented in the book arts. For individuals to whom this does not apply, register at the rate listed first and, if you are able, consider making a donation when registering to support MCBA’s efforts to make reduced rates available.
What you’ll need to participate: For this live virtual demo, you are invited to ask questions via Zoom’s Chat feature. Access to a camera is not necessary. A tote bag printed during this demo will be sent to the address provided at registration.
Please note: Registration closes 9/30 at midnight.
