Bringing Book Arts to Your Community

At this time, MCBA is not offering live virtual or in-person workshops to youth-based community groups (schools, libraries, Scout troops, and community organizations) due to inconsistent demand over the past few years.  We look forward to hosting youth again in the future! Share your interest in an in-person group workshop with us here so we can follow-up when we resume scheduling.

Adult community groups are welcome to reach out to us about scheduling a private workshop. Please email Anna Bredeson at abredeson@mnbookarts.org with your request and we’ll follow up soon.

Bookmaking
Learn how to make accessible book structures from paper and other easy-to-find materials.

These 10-to-15-minute lessons cover everything from DIY envelopes to hand lettering and printmaking techniques. Videos include inspiring examples and prompts to get you started.
