Art Share for MCBA Members

with Anika Schneider
Tuesday, May 21; 6:30–8:30pm CT

Art Share provides MCBA members an opportunity to connect and inspire each other’s creative practice. Join other MCBA members in MCBA’s studios and take turns sharing about your artwork and responding to others’ artwork in a safe and supportive space. MCBA’s Director of Exhibitions & Artist Programs will facilitate and watch the time for each speaker, but it is up to each artist to direct the conversation during their designated time, when they can choose to share or ask questions and receive feedback from the group.

Please bring something to share related to your practice. It could be a sketchbook, a finished (or unfinished) piece, notes on an idea you want to explore, and/or something you are struggling with or have questions about.

MCBA members are encouraged to participate! Become a member or renew your membership here. MCBA teaching artists, Artist Collective members, Jerome and McKnight Fellows, staff, and interns are invited to register free of charge.

All skill levels welcome

$10/MCBA members
$5 for BIPOC/Financial scholarship MCBA members
MCBA offers two scholarship types for workshops—Financial Hardship Scholarships and BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) Scholarships—to honor equity and increase access and artistic opportunities for those who have historically been underrepresented in the book arts. For individuals to whom these scholarships do not apply, register at the Adult rate and, if you are able, consider making a donation when registering to support MCBA’s efforts to make scholarships available.

Please note: Registration closes 5/17 at midnight (CT).
