        Meet the Demonstration Artists

        Show Demonstration Artists

        Brien Beidler (he/him), a 2023 McKnight Book Artist Fellow at MCBA, will demonstrate his skill with gold tooling, a process by which gold leaf is impressed into leather with a heated finishing tool.

         

        

        Heather RJ Fletcher, MCBA teaching artist and author of Making Marbled Paper, will show off her finesse with an eyedropper, acrylic ink, and the special marbling combs she uses to transfer intricate patterns onto paper.

         

        

        Local letterpress expert Bill Myers will be cranking our mid-19th century iron hand presses to produce takeaway prints for guests.
